VIRTUAL (home-based) Volunteer Quality Assurance Testers
The Pet Cancer Fund is a Vancouver based organization whose mission is to increase the life expectancy and improve the quality of life of pets diagnosed with cancer.
Estimates place the number of dogs and cats developing cancer yearly at 6 million for each species; approximately 6x the number of humans getting cancer every year within North America. Amazingly, the cancer in our pets can share up to 80% of its DNA with human cancers which means they can be diagnosed and treated very similarly to humans.
New diagnostic and treatment breakthroughs are happening for us humans, however, these discoveries can take an extended period of time to make their way to the veterinary field. Our goal is to change that.
